A patient had pain in the neck spreading across the shoulders. I asked if there was a cervical disc bulge, "Yes!" I located it at C6/7. Asked can I address this the same way as I address lumbar discs? "Yes."
I located painful points along the superior part of the shoulder, progressively more painful as I moved laterally until it started to ease, and used the arthrostim to adjust those points as for lumbar discs.
The patient reports no more pain and sensitivity around disc and vertebrae.
