KST A to Z

Dizziness

Kevin Ross, DC

Tempe, Arizona

A patient called today with severe dizziness. She lives over 45 minutes away. I did a phone consult and started checking: Occiput, panic pattern, L5 disk right side 5" from spine CCW; coccyx needed to be adjusted by contact. I talked her through the contact and direction; she said it was really tender at C1.

On her second phone consult, the panic pattern came up again, ocular lock, and eventually the question of whether it was a foot problem: yes. I had her tap with her index finger 10 times on each anterior talus. She stood back up and the dizziness was gone, followed by a 'wooshing' feeling that traced to low blood sugar since she hadn't eaten due to the dizziness.

Dizzy due to needing to be more grounded... who would have thought?
