A patient came in with a question: "can you check dogs?" Their dog was not eating, and they weren't sure why.

I did some checks and picked up a tooth infection. Dog's mouth hurt to eat the hard food. They took the dog in and sure enough there was a massive infection under three teeth that had to be removed.

Two weeks later I checked the dog and 'emotions' came up: 'depression' about his looks. I asked the owners, "Is your dog moping around right now?" they said yes. I told them, "He is depressed with how he looks." The mom laughed and said, "Well I guess I should stop teasing him about how funny he looks." She apologized and the dog perked up.
