One of the first cases that came to me after learning KST was that of a two-week-old little boy with an impacted lacrimal duct. His mom was a prominent local TV personality and had scheduled a procedure to have a tube put in. I said, "Let's try this." Tap tap tap. Three days later she called: "I was changing the baby, and I heard something go pop; the duct is clear." The baby is 8 years old now, never had another problem.

Next case: mother brings in a five-day-old baby with a bad lachrymal duct after head compression/birth trauma. The pediatrician wants to put in a tube. "Let's try this." Tap, tap, tap. Saw the mother the next day; baby's perfect! Duct problem resolved.
