KST A to Z

Tennis

Peter Kravchenko, DC

Hanover, Ontario, Canada

Last month I was playing in a men's A doubles tennis final where we played two young guys, both very tall 6'3ish with monster serves probably in the 125-mph range. I had trouble reacting to their power and we lost.

The next day I checked with the OD. What is the fastest serve I can react to return the shot? 115 mph. What is the limiting factor in my nervous system? Cerebellum? No. Basal ganglia? Yes! Is there a KST correction to help balance the basal ganglia? Yes! I did a few cranial and upper cervical points. Recheck: what is fastest serve I can react to now? 130 mph!

Anything else to help my tennis game? Yes! Am I balanced to my racquet? No! KST check indicates panic pattern. Cleared it. Do I feel I can win against those same guys? No. Cleared sphenoids. Now it's yes.

We played another tournament and met the same guys in the semifinals where we kicked their butts. We won the whole tournament!
