KST A to Z

Anxiety

Ellen Wolk, DC

Walthan, Massachusetts

I have been seeing a patient who has "bipolar disorder" and anxiety for the last couple of years.

She has done very well with the KST. She came in one day and told me she was terribly anxious. I had not really used the KST "emotional work" at that point but wanted to help.

So, I asked her to rate her anxiety on a scale of one to ten. She rated it an eight.

I asked her to really feel the anxiety and focus on that. I checked her and then corrected lots of cranial issues and stopped when her body said it was done. I asked her to again rate her anxiety, and it was now down to a "very bearable two."

She was very pleased and sometimes comes in and tells me she wants me to check her for anxiety.
