KST A to Z
Anxiety and lower back pain
William (Sandy) Watt, DC
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
A patient I hadn't seen for three months comes in yesterday and says she has a little low back pain. I checked her OD, and a panic pattern comes up. I tell her this, and she replies that she has had lots of anxiety lately.
I asked the OD if the panic. pattern is related to a specific emotion. Yes. I have her look at the emotion sheet and “despair” comes up. In the present? No. In the past? Yes. I am 32 years old and tell her. She spins around and says, "You just blow me away; that is when my mother abandoned me."
I had her feel those emotions and began adjusting what came up. There were many issues, and it went on for quite some time: cranials, healing codes, sternum etc. It will be interesting to see how she feels when she comes in today. The point of the story is that the accuracy of the OD blows me away as well. You can trust in it unconditionally.
