KST A to Z

Anxiety - fear of confined spaces

Stephen Porter, DC

North Bay, Ontario, Canada

Richard, a 54-year-old male, came to our office with a typical neck and shoulder problem. His case history revealed a long history of life stresses including overwhelming work stress.

Richard doesn't use elevators due to the confined space; it sets him into a panic. Using the OD I asked Richard's body for his subluxation pattern and priorities. I adjusted what came up.

After one week, he reported that he felt more himself and that he didn't feel the anxiety anymore. I suggested trying the elevator. The next week Richard came back and stated that using the elevator was perfectly normal. This was over three years ago.
