KST A to Z

Bent forward - lower back spasm, antalgic position

Kevin Ross, DC

Tempe, Arizona

A lady with spasm in low back was bent forward for 3 days after a child bounced on her low back (she has 5 kids).

I did a KST check asking, "Anything to adjust for the low back pain?" Yes. Lumbar, disk, right, 3 inches out from midline, counterclockwise.

"Anything else for low back pain?" No!

I adjusted her and then asked her to make her back hurt. She started to bend forward, expecting pain, bent all the way to her toes then stood upright, whipped around and said, "No way! That fast? That is cool!"
