Birth – back pain during labor

I am a doula, and one of my patients went into labor last night. I was with her for her first birth, as well.
She called at 1 AM saying that contractions were moderate but irregular. At 2:15 her water broke, and her husband called me at 2:30. I arrived at 3:03 and observed a contraction. She was having low back pain with the contractions since her water had broken.
She was on her hands and knees, and I used an air OD in between contractions and adjusted her sacrum. During her next contraction, the back pain was less intense.
With the next contraction, she made it down the stairs to the foyer, then dropped to her hands and knees. This beautiful girl was born in the foyer, caught by her father and a paramedic 28 minutes after I arrived, and about 20 minutes after I adjusted her.
