I received an email today from a patient we saw last week concerned about baby position and ability to be born, since the baby was late.
Josiah was born the next day with no complications. You were right about being on my right side. It was the most comfortable position, and I ended up delivering him while on my side.
He had the cord wrapped twice around his neck; I wondered if that was the "mechanical" reason you told me he wouldn't turn until delivery. He came out very easily with just a couple of pushes.
