KST A to Z
Bradycardia
DD Agostino, DC
Jacksonville, Florida
A patient was in a car accident. About 2 weeks into care, she cancelled her appointment because she was at her MD's office with heart issues. She was diagnosed with bradycardia and is now wearing a heart monitor. She took a stress test, did very poorly and was scheduled for a more-in-depth stress test. She was very concerned, looked gaunt and her energy was low.
At her next visit, I found a panic pattern and lateral sternum. 24 hours later she said she was having no more heart sensation issues (like fluttering); she would have 3-4 per day, and now was feeling better. She was energized and had a youthful look to her again. Her second stress test showed no issues at all.
To her credit, she told her doctor that her chiropractor checked her for heart issues, adjusted her and ever since she has had no problems. Her doctor just said "Really??"
