I have a patient who has suffered from burning mouth syndrome for years. The OD showed a cranial subluxation at the styloid process. I would never have thought to adjust there as it's such a delicate area.

I applied the arthrostim on a low force setting to her styloid. She returned for her next visit stating that her burning mouth symptoms were nearly gone.

After several more adjustments, the symptoms stopped completely. She does have recurring episodes, which are easily remedied by the styloid adjustment.
