With KST on a cat I found that the "dying cat" did not have a kidney problem at all (after expensive tests) but was deficient in trace minerals. Liquid trace minerals were added to the food and the cat had a complete and "miraculous" recovery with no other medical intervention.

I recently had a patient with a feral cat at her house that would not allow itself to be touched at all for months. KST found emotion "unworthy" of love. I gave the patient some phrases to talk to the cat as she saw it and within two days full affection shown to and from the cat... pretty cool!
