T.M. is a 2-year-old girl who fell down the stairs; she was unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs. Mom took her to the Emergency Room where it was verified that she had a concussion.

After a brief stay in the hospital, mom brought her in to be adjusted. She was extremely lethargic. After the adjustment she became a little more social but was still a little out-of-it. By the end of the week Dad reported she was doing much better.

Concussion - post-concussion visual problems

Since a concussion a year prior the patient had episodes of visual problems when looking to the far right, far left and downward, causing eyestrain and dizziness. I had her move her eyes in the provoking directions and checked and corrected her sphenoid repeatedly, each time noting she felt lighter and could go farther without strain. Emotional thoughts about the accident that caused the concussion came up during the last corrections.
