KST A to Z
Depression
Andrea Ferretti. DC

A practice member of many years came to me in tears asking if there was anything I could do to help her husband who had been suffering with depression that escalated into delusions - hearing voices, convinced people were following him, convinced there were cameras in the bathroom light bulbs. He could not hold a job and had been placed in a psychiatric ward on several occasions. He refused to come to the office.
I told her we could try to help him through her as a surrogate. Over the next eight months he received six KST sessions this way.
He is now mentally well balanced. The paranoia, distrust, and strange behaviour is gone; he is holding down a good job; she has not had to take him to the hospital. She sent me a thank you card that says KST saved him, saved their marriage and saved her.
