KST A to Z

Emotional “knowing” of child abuse

Christine L. Curran, DC

Dillsburg, Pennsylvania

A woman in her mid 50's heard me talking about KST to a patient and said, "I don't know what you have, but I want it!" She had originally presented with mid-thoracic pain and aching/numbness into both arms.

Two days later she reported that within one hour of her KST adjustment she had a 'knowing' come over her that she'd been trying to attain through years of conventional counseling regarding being abused as a child by her parents. This 'knowing' was that it wasn't her fault. She knew it intellectually after ten years of counseling, but didn't understand it deeply until her KST adjustment.

Update: She is still doing well. Her fear/anxiety issues are greatly reduced and often completely gone. She is smiling more, and her jaw/facial muscles are visibly less clenched. Her original thoracic pain and arm symptoms had improved with other techniques, but she hasn't mentioned them since starting KST.

They are not medical advice, do not establish that KST treats or cures any disease, and should not be used as a reason to delay appropriate or emergency care or independently discontinue prescribed medication.
