The patient is an 87-year-old Polish woman, a WWII concentration camp survivor. She presented in a wheelchair with apparent severe exhaustion pattern and difficulty swallowing including liquids. She stated she weighed 76 lbs. She is literally wasting away.

I checked and adjusted while she was sitting. Her OD was positive for hyoid and two cranials, cervical pattern, and exhaustion pattern. Her swallowing improved immediately; she could drink water and pureed foods after the first adjustment. She is now able to stand longer and can assist in meal prep and minor chores.

Currently she eats normally, has gained 7 lbs and her overall quality of life improved 200%.
