Fussy baby – toys in the car seat

A baby who was fussy in the car seat was brought back in because, "symptoms had returned." The OD came up with car seat again as the problem and something in the car seat. They had "her favorite toy" in the car seat.
Using the OD I asked, "is the toy a problem?" YES!! "No toys in the car seat?" YES!
I told the parents not to give her anything in the car seat. They came in today and the mom was gushing about how amazing their baby has become. The baby is relaxed and sooo comfortable. The baby nurses great and is totally relaxed.
