KST A to Z
Head trauma in two-year-old
Karen Baader, DC
Roanoke, Virginia
At age two my son ran into the corner of a marble counter and was hit on the right side between the parietal and frontal bones. He screamed terribly; it was rapidly turning dark purple and the size of golf ball within seconds.
I dragged him into the next room where the arthrostim sits available for use with all the injuries in a house of two-, four-, six-, and ten-year-olds.
I used it in the opposite direction he ran into the counter. The inflammation went down immediately, golf ball disappeared, the discoloration was completely reabsorbed, and there was no more pain.
