Holiday adjustment – annoying brother-in-law adjustment

Tedd Koren, DC

Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania

As my patient was leaving the office after a visit, he commented, "I'm not looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with my brother-in-law. He is so annoying, and we get into a big fight each year."

I called him back in and asked him to think of his brother-in-law. Got an OD, adjusted what came up. I asked him to picture his brother-in-law doing the annoying thing he does at dinner. Another OD. Adjusted him again. We did this a few times until no more OD when thinking about his relative.

He came in for care a couple weeks later. "By the way, how did things go with your brother-in-law this year?" I asked. He gave me a stunned look and said, "This was the first time we didn't have a fight during Thanksgiving dinner."
