KST A to Z

Hot flashes

Ray Glass, DC

Houston, Texas

One of my auto accident patients told me on Wednesday she was having hot flashes. I asked the OD if there was anything I could do to help this patient's hot flashes and I was led to L5. When she returned on Friday, she said the adjustment for her hot flashes had worked.

I then asked the OD if she had a menopause pattern and got a no, instead again led to L5. Follow-up: she had no recurrence for several days. When I checked her today, she did have the menopause pattern, as well as L5 and bilateral temporal subluxation. She had a dropped uterus as well as L5, possibly from a hysterectomy years back. When she left my office today, her hot flashes had stopped.
