KST A to Z

Knee pain - 4 years

Kevin Ross, DC

Tempe, Arizona

A 61-year-old lady comes to the office today. She is leaving on Monday to go back to NY, but the daughter says she has to come see me first. She had a four-year history of unresolved knee pain, minimizing medications due to toxicity. If she got on the ground to play with grandchildren, she had to walk on her knees to a table to pull herself up due to severe pain. She has to sit in chairs with armrests to assist her up.

Using KST to check her while seated showed bilateral anterior talus. Nothing else standing either. After adjusting the anterior talus bilaterally, I ask her to kneel down and try to get up. She does so unassisted, no pain. She sits and stands unassisted, no pain, brings her knees to her chest, no pain.

Her daughter says, "Mom, do you just think you feel better?" Mom stares at her and says flatly, "I don't hurt."
