KST A to Z

Knee pain, no range of motion

Chris Musacchio, DC

Harrisburg, North Carolina

The patient is a female age 60 who had multiple surgeries on her right knee (replacement, remove scar tissue, replacement) over the past several years.

She has never regained even close to her normal range of motion in the knee and walks with a severely externally rotated leg. Adjustments mainly dealt with compensations, using Thompson, HIO, and Arthrostim based on prone muscle testing.

I checked her with KST, and the OD found sphenoid anterior bilaterally, C5 posterior, hump pattern, and posterior right knee. Two days later she started with, "Whatever you did Monday..." I thought, "here it comes." Instead, she told me she woke up Tuesday and was able to walk normally. She demonstrated up and down my hall flexing her leg 90 degrees over and over!
