One of the first cases that came to me after learning KST was that of a two-week-old little boy with an impacted lacrimal duct. His mom had scheduled a procedure through her pediatrician to have a tube put in. I said, "Let's try this." Tap tap tap. Three days later she called: "I was changing the baby and I heard something go pop, the duct is clear." The baby is eight years old now, never had another problem.

Next case: mother brings in baby with a bad lachrymal duct after head compression/birth trauma. The baby is five days old and the pediatrician wants to put in a tube! "Let's try this." Tap, tap, tap. Saw the mother the next day, baby's perfect! Duct problem resolved.
