KST A to Z
Lost in the woods adjustment (Emergency KST)

A friend and I had hiked deep into the Yellowstone backcountry for a day of fly fishing and realized we were running out of time to get back to the trailhead before dark. We figured six miles at a light jog should get us out before dark.
Suddenly my friend's back 'went out' as he dropped to his knees in pain. He was barely able to stand and was unable to walk. We did not have ANY overnight gear and I was worried.
I checked him with KST and adjusted T12 with a tap of my fingers; the pain was gone! We made it back before dark and safe. (We had you-know-what scared out of us by a bison but that's another story.)
