KST A to Z
Meth Detox Retracing
Dan Secrest, DC
Scottsdale, Arizona
A 28-year-old female presented to the clinic with chronic sinusitis of unknown etiology. She had several rounds of allergy tests performed as well as X-rays, MRI and CT's of skull - all negative.
She also has chronic headaches and migraines that are debilitating and cause her to miss 1-2 days of work every two weeks. Also, moderate neck pain, right arm weakness, low back pain and sporadic right sciatica. She has been on a multitude of meds with no relief over the last two years.
Patient admits to having been a meth addict (2 years prior) and an exotic dancer.
After her first adjustment (which included emotional clearing via spinal, cranial and facial regions) she reported that her neck and low back pains improved 40-50%, her right arm felt 80% stronger but her sinusitis dramatically worsened.
She had extreme burning pain on the drive home but within two hours her pain and runny nose subsided for the first time in two years. Her headache cleared in office during care.
Over the weekend she experienced left-sided nosebleeds for hours at a time.
On Monday follow-up she reported her headaches and sinusitis were clear (VERY happy patient). Due to muscle memory, her neck and low back pain returned but were still about 25% improved, right arm strength holding well.
I told her she experienced a wonderful detox, and this was a great start to recovery. She stated she knew deep down inside that was what was occurring.
Incidentally, she also admitted that she always snorted drugs through her left nostril - hence the left-sided nosebleeds.
