KST A to Z

Shoulder/Fitness

Peter Lawton, DC

Wexford, Pennsylvania

I have been trying something lately regarding fitness that has been very interesting for me.

I have a right shoulder injury I have been recovering from and was very frustrated. I decided to use the OD to ask exactly what I was able to do and what I should avoid doing.

The OD has allowed me to create very specific workouts, including what exercise I should do, how much weight, how many reps, how long I should rest between exercises, whether I should train that day or rest, exercises or movements to avoid, etc.

I am only limited by the specificity of the questions I ask. I have only been doing this for two weeks, so I will be curious to see how it unfolds. I have been using kettle bells and Indian clubs as my primary training tools.
