KST A to Z
Shoulder pain
Daniel Bank, DC
North Mackay, QLD, Australia
Had a fellow come into the office for acute right shoulder pain. His physical exam was pretty routine. Neurologic motor weakness at C5 motor level. Biceps tendon weak on the right side. Trapezius weakness. Muscle tension on right over upper trap area and trigger points in right deltoid. Decreased abduction with pain.
Priorities led me to Blair listing (C1 and C5), C5 rotated to right. Right body C2. No change in pain occurred until next priority which was wrist extensor on right side.
Adjusted this and full range of motion with no pain. No pain on recheck two weeks later!
