KST A to Z
Shoulder problem – it is never too late!
Nicky Bateman, DC

A 76-year-old man with a 20.5-year history of not being able to raise his left arm above shoulder level in any direction came in for care. He actually came in to see me about problems with his knees and pain from a fractured ankle that happened a year ago.
His wife had 'pushed' him into my office; he's never had any chiropractic care before.
OD led me quite quickly to his shoulder and nowhere near his legs to start with. I did a whole bunch of adjustments, mostly physical, only one panic pattern and I noticed his shoulder starting to get hot and sweaty. I reassured him and continued.
There was a slight popping sound as we were doing POS releasing and hey presto! His arm moved freely.
Because I was not at all focused on sorting his shoulder out but simply working with priorities as led by the OD, the shoulder problem resolved.
PS. We sorted his knees out too! It is never too late to heal, help others or ourselves.
