KST A to Z
Sleep apnea
Tedd Koren, DC
Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania
Sam had severe sleep apnea and was using a device to prevent him from turning certain ways while sleeping.
I checked him in the posture of subluxation or dysfunction - the position he slept in, especially the positions that caused the most breathing difficulty.
His hyoid, larynx and sternum came up in different directions.
He reported a dramatic improvement in his sleep apnea beginning that evening.
