KST A to Z
Spinal degeneration and stenosis

An 86-year-old female with significant lumbar degeneration and moderate spinal canal stenosis has been under my care for approximately four years.
She has chronic low back pain, especially on the right sacroiliac region, and intermittent right thigh pain that can be debilitating. She also has advanced cervical degeneration with recurrent radiculopathy.
I have been primarily using KST with her. She has not had leg pain and is able to be more mobile. She is able to walk longer and is having less upper extremity radicular symptoms.
The manual techniques were limited in their ability to release the chronic fascial tension and were not able to adequately release the joints, especially her right SI joint which was injured 40 years ago.
These stories are practitioner-reported experiences presented for educational and historical purposes. Individual experiences vary. They are not medical advice, do not establish that KST treats or cures any disease, and should not be used as a reason to delay appropriate or emergency care or independently discontinue prescribed medication.
