Stomach pains

An eight-year-old girl has suffered with stomach pains for months. The medics couldn't find a cause, despite many painful, invasive tests.
I found a panic pattern for the first three visits, at weekly intervals.
Today she told me that her stomach pains are gone and also that her "self feels better." I asked her what that meant and she said, "You know, like, the ghost of me. It's white like my shirt."
