Her friend came into the office room to tell me the patient was stuck in the car and could not get out due to the pain she was in.

We helped her out of the car; she walked holding on to the fence and the wall. Her pelvis was twisted, with her left hip being significantly superior and markedly lateral. She could hardly put any weight on that side.

She eventually got to the treatment room, and by this time, she couldn’t stand or sit, so she lay down on her side and couldn’t move. She was crying.

I asked her to lie on her side and adjusted her right SIJ (sacroiliac joint). She screamed and started crying more, HOWEVER, then she sat up! An emotional issue at age 10 came up. Corrected L5 then L4. She stood up, walked up and down gingerly.

Without KST I don’t think I would have treated her at all!
