While Mr. N was in the Gulf War, he lost his ability to swallow properly. At the VA, he had every test imaginable and found nothing.

Food would get stuck somewhere between his throat and stomach and not move. He would have to excuse himself and wretch/gag or cough/choke until he could unblock his airway/food pathway. His wife said you could hear it throughout the restaurant, and she was sick and tired of it and would not go out to eat with him anymore.

His previous chiropractor gave him an old-fashioned neck-snapping adjustment with no improvement.

I asked him if I might work on it. I worked on his sphenoid, hyoid and sternum.

Two mornings later, he strode in exclaiming, "I have had four meals since I've seen you, and I have been able to swallow each bite! I am so excited!"

That adjustment lasted two weeks. So far, five weeks with no subsequent problems. At his last visit, his gastric reflux volcano went dormant.
