While the mom was getting adjusted, I noticed her little girl (about nine months old) trying to crawl but dragging her leg. Mom stated that the daughter had always crawled this way.

Then the mom said, "That is not the worst, she has always had trouble swallowing!!"

I told the mom, "Your daughter gets adjusted today! NOW!!"

I remembered from the seminar a connection between swallowing and the hyoid bone, so I told the mom I was going to adjust the hyoid bone, admitting I had never done it before.

The daughter began to swallow that night and was able to eat normally after one visit! And after a few visits, she was also able to crawl normally. I never thought about the hyoid bone until the seminar.
