KST A to Z

The power of a photograph

Tedd Koren, DC

Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania

A 6-year-old boy was abandoned by his mother shortly after birth. His grandparents are raising the child and providing a loving environment. I had done emotional work on him via subconscious communication on a prior visit, but this time I had an idea: I asked his grandparents to bring in photos of the child's birth parents.

As he looked at every photo he locked up - not only his sphenoids but also his temporals, which are related to obsessive thinking and constant worry. His grandmother reported improvements in his emotional life after that single session. I corrected him as he looked at each photo. We waited a while and repeated the action, but this time he did not lock up. Sometimes an actual photo is more powerful than an imaginary image.
