Thumb connected to the talus?
Kevin Ross, DC
Tempe, Arizona
A patient comes in with thumb pain. I checked him, and the priority was right anterior talus (in the foot). I adjusted the talus bone in his foot, and he yells, "Son of a bitch!"
I asked, "What happened?" and he said, "That hurt my thumb like hell!"
Nothing else came up. Nothing. I told him he was done (he had driven 45 minutes to see me) and he left. Thumb pain gone. Go where the OD is, and that is exactly where you need to be - pain or no pain.
