The patient has TMJ pain and locked joints since last June. Opening her mouth even two fingers wide causes excruciating pain. She cannot take any solid food.

She had been diagnosed with TMJ degeneration and subluxation via MRI, with a follow-up MRI showing deterioration and an osteophyte. Surgery was scheduled in two months.

This was my first TMJ patient since learning KST. I followed the ODs and did many adjustments with her mouth closed and open. Right afterward, she opened her mouth without pain.

She returned a week later, reporting she could take some solid food like wonton and noodles. Her TMJ pain never returned. After the second visit, her mouth opened fully to normal, 3 fingers wide.

Two weeks later, on the third visit, she reported she was back to normal life and diet, having steaks and other food no problem. She was completely healed.

She went back to the dental surgeon for a follow-up visit. He was amazed and is monitoring her, but nothing needs to be done.
