KST A to Z
TMJ pain

Female patient had jaw pain for the prior two months. After one KST session she can now open her mouth all the way with minimal pain. She is 90% better!
Another patient with jaw pain had a TMJ misalignment. The patient vomited post-adjustment, and then the pain was gone.
A related letter from a patient of Dr. Michael Dody: I developed lower back pain that intensified to sharp pain. After my first visit I thought this was too gentle to be effective. The next day I was less congested and the tightness began to dissipate.
After my 3rd visit, something shocked me: I'd been diagnosed with TMJ in my mid-20s and wore an orthotic 24/7. My ability to sing, which I'd done competitively, had deteriorated - I couldn't open my mouth properly, let alone sing, and my inner ear pitch-finding had been affected. One day after my 3rd visit, I realized I was belting out my favorite tunes in the car like before. I had to pull over and call my mom, who also has TMJ, with the news. The popping and clicking is essentially gone, I can eat on both sides of my mouth, I've regained hearing in my left ear, and I can find and keep pitch again.
