A woman entered my office complaining of severe vertigo and nausea - something she had never had before. Tests for inner ear involvement were negative.

She had vertigo when she flexed and extended her head and when she rotated her head left and right, but only when her eyes were open. So, I had her move her eyes in the opposite direction of her head movement. I adjusted her occiput. I saw her for three subsequent visits, and she has had no recurrence six months later.

I used this method on five vertigo patients - most cleared within three to five visits.
