Wave & tidal wave - two stories

Mary Curtis, DC

Rapid City, South Dakota

I had finished her ROF (report of findings) and started adjusting this new patient.

I adjusted both her temporals, and she began to spontaneously have a really cool wave pattern while she was seated. I could tell she was "offline" and I told her to relax backwards, I had her body weight on me.

I asked her friend to help hold her while she was "waving" for a full five minutes. Her head moved and her eyes were moving very fast under her closed lids!

When she came back "online" she was smiling and happy. She was so thrilled to have gone through that, she prepaid her next 12 visits.

Tidal wave:

This is a female patient with headaches, migraines, seizures and emotional stress. She was starting to tell me about her issues again as I adjusted her for a wave.

She literally stopped talking mid-sentence and I helped her to the floor. She instantly started turning red and blotchy all over her neck, her ears were totally red, too.

Her head was gently going back and forth, and her eyes were going fast. She was "offline" for five minutes, then mumbled a few words, kept going, woke again, went out one more time. I did no adjusting this whole time. She finally came back online after 30 minutes down on the floor.

She told me after that she didn't like it because it reminded her of her seizures, but then she realized why it had happened: she was actively looking to change her life, and her body asked me to start that process for her with a wave.
