Xiphodynia is a term for an uncommon syndrome with symptoms ranging from upper abdominal pain to chest, throat and arm symptoms referred from the xiphisternal joint or structures attached to the xiphoid process.

A thirty-eight-year-old patient who had been under medical care for years with unusual stomach and abdominal pains and nausea came to my office. He had been given various medications with no relief. MDs could not figure out what was wrong.

Using KST the xyphoid was found to be laterally subluxated/twisted. One adjustment. Patient's problems permanently resolved.
