KST Hands-On Workshop: What to Expect

Dear KST Family,
For over twenty years, Koren Specific Technique has been known for one thing: No cracking. No popping. No kidding. It’s a system that works beautifully without a single manual thrust — helping us deliver powerful results without forceful adjusting. Many of you have built your entire practice (and your reputation) around that principle. But here’s something we’ve noticed over the years.
A lot of KST practitioners already have strong manual adjusting skills — skills they developed long before discovering KST. And yet, many hesitate to use them once they start practicing KST. Why? Because there’s been this quiet question in the back of everyone’s mind: “If I use my hands, does it still count as KST?”
After many conversations (and even more reflection), Dr. Ross and I came to an important realization: if the body’s innate intelligence indicates that a manual adjustment — or even something like soft tissue work — is what’s needed, then it should absolutely be done. And who better to do that, with precision and respect for the body’s priorities, than a KST doctor?
This fall, we’re trying something brand new. And it’s not just about “manual” adjusting. This new KST Hands-On Workshop will combine all the best tools and methods to help the body clear subluxations and function optimally — while staying true to KST’s core principles.
📅 November 8–9, 2025 📍 Phoenix, Arizona 🎓 For KST Alumni Only (Not an alum yet? Get started with the KST eLearning Course.)
We’re calling this an Alumni Pilot Program — and it’s your opportunity to help shape the future of KST training. No “Beginner” or “Advanced” tracks this time. It’s one unified, hands-on, skill-focused weekend. We’ll cover a concept, then move straight to table work — partners, feedback, and real-time practice. You’ll deepen your confidence and be ready to apply what you’ve learned the very next day. Because this is a pilot, your feedback will directly shape the future KST workshops for 2026 and beyond.
Here’s what’s on the list (we’ll cover as much as time allows):
Review of Priorities – Using KST’s priority framework to guide each adjustment sequence. Wrist & Hand – Muscle work, findings, and carpal-tunnel insights.
Shoulder – AC setup, subscapularis work, stretching, and home resets.
Jaw – Evaluation, muscle releases, and home care.
Manual Sternum Adjusting – Setup and cautions.
Manual Cervical Adjusting – When and how to apply safely.
Rib Adjusting – Prone and anterior variations.
Anterior Adjusting – Considerations for female patients and practitioners.
Lumbar – Side-posture mechanics made simple.
Pelvis – Hemorrhoid and coccyx connections; office and home applications.
Lower Extremity – Feet, knees, common findings, soft-tissue techniques.
Soft Tissue & Organ Support – Bladder lift, uterus lift, stomach pull, and stretches to teach patients for lasting results.
This isn’t about changing KST — it’s about expanding it. It’s about giving you more tools, more certainty, and more confidence inside the KST framework. Imagine knowing exactly when a manual adjustment is indicated — because innate intelligence says so — and being able to deliver it with the precision that KST priorities provide. That’s what this weekend is all about.
